The coaching staff includes eight members who will be responsible for preparing the five goalkeepers, 16 defenders, ten midfielders, and five forwards.

Peshawar Zalmi was charged a penalty for maintaining a slow over-rate during their first match of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) against Karachi Kings.

The match umpire, Ali Naqvi, ruled that Peshawar Zalmi was one over short of their target, even after taking into consideration the time allowances.

As per the HBL PSL Code of Conduct for Players and Player Support Personnel, each player was fined 10% of their match fee for the breach.

The penalty was announced by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Wednesday, a day after the match was played. Peshawar Zalmi had beaten Karachi Kings by a narrow margin of two runs in a thrilling contest.

The Yellow Storm had posted a mammoth total of 199 runs on the scoreboard before restricting Karachi Kings to 197-5 in 20 overs.

The slow over-rate penalty was a reminder to Peshawar Zalmi and all other teams in the PSL that maintaining an adequate over-rate is crucial to the smooth functioning of the game.

The PSL has strict regulations regarding overrates, and teams are expected to complete their overs in the allotted time.

While Peshawar Zalmi emerged victorious in the match against Karachi Kings, the penalty serves as a warning to the team and others in the tournament to avoid similar violations in the future.
