Chetan Sharma, the chief selector of the Board of Control for Cricket in India, has made a stunning revelation about top Indian players, claiming they use banned injections to maintain their fitness.

In zee News’s sting Operation program “Game Over,” Sharma disclosed that many of the country’s most famous players use injections containing a prohibited drug that can’t be detected in dope tests.

Sharma clarified that the players use injections instead of painkillers to avoid getting caught in doping tests, and they are aware of which injections are detected in such tests. He revealed that the players make 100% fitness by injecting after consulting with doctors.

Furthermore, Sharma claimed that India’s star pacer Jasprit Bumrah concealed his back injury before the T20I series against Australia last year to make it to the T20 World Cup 2022 squad.

Chetan also claimed that the fitness of prominent players was deliberately overlooked by the Board.

Furthermore, he disclosed that the decision to remove Virat Kohli as Indian Test skipper was based on his performance and not on the influence of BCCI President Sourav Ganguly.

Sharma also revealed that Hardik Pandya would be appointed as the next captain of the T20I side, whereas veteran batter Rohit Sharma would not be part of the team in the shortest format of the game.
